Is it just me or are Guys in Trucks talking on their fun little walkie-talkies (Nextels) the most maddening thing in the world?
All I want to do is to get where I'm going, as quickly as possible, and I have to wait for the Guy in the Truck talking on his Nextel to figure out that he needs to GO through the intersection now that the light is green.
What gets my steam up even more is when he is in the left lane chugging along 10 miles per hour below the posted limited just chatting away. And the person they are always talking to must be the funniest person alive because he/she constantly makes the person in front of me laugh hysterically.
This annoyance began for me when the darn things first came out. It wasn't bad enough that people on cellphones were loud and disturbing with their one-sided conversations, but now we get to hear Both sides of the conversation. Thank God!
Maybe I just have a bit of road-rage and I'm just being prejudice against Guys who drive Trucks and talk on Nextels. But they make me so mad! Maybe I'm missing out on something... maybe I should get a Truck and a Nextel. While I'm at it I'll get a gun rack as well.
That's it. I had more things I wanted to say on this subject, but since this is my first official blog I'm not in the swing of it yet and the words aren't coming to me. I'm sure they will this afternoon on my way home... when I'm behind a Guy in a Truck talking on his Nextel.
